I recently upgraded from windows 98 to xp. I noticed my dos games I used to run, don't work anymore on XP. My brother-in-law told me I can't run dos games on XP, is this true?

YOur brother in law is wrong. In Windows XP, you have to set the file itself to run
under compatibility mode for Windows 95 or 98/Me. Right click on the actual file, then click the Compatibility tab.
I can still play some of the older Atari type games like Tank, Pac-Man, etc...

Thanks Matt, I have some great dos games that I would hate to part with. I'll try installing one today, see what happens.:)

Well, that's true. Click "Start" then RUN and type cmd to get to the Dos prompt. They should run from there too.
