i am so horrible!

ok well, i have always struggled with wicca, and i am a christian, but im always flippin back and forth, like one day ill be full on christian, and then the next day i will deny christ completely, and then the next day ill be both!!! im like aaaahhhH!!!!! i hate it!! grr, wlel now, i am once again a christian, i know that there is no goddess, or gods, that thre is only one god, and that is Jesus christ himself, it is just wat i have always beleived and cant just stop beleiving it, and i drop beleive it sincerely, and i think taht when i was "pagan" i was not really cause i didnt beleive wat they beleive, i just lit a few candles chanted a few words and blah blah blah! neways, i dont kno wat it is that always brings me back to the ocult but it does, i dont want to go back, becuase its wrong, and i know where it all comes from, but i jksut get to a point where i dont care, ne suggestions on how i can stay away from it so i dont backslide again? its all very confusing, but i dont want to go back thats fer sure! thnx

 

There are false Gods and they do have power. They operate by the will of Satan, and there greatest power is through the mind. The occult can be very persistent. I have had encounters with demons, and they are not here to lift you up, but to destroy you and your relationship with Christ. A neighbor woman of mine years ago praticed withcraft. Her messing around with the occult messed her up so bad, that she had to spend some time in mental institutions. I lost contact with her and I don't know where she is today. The Bible tells us to resist the Devil and he will flee from you. As we get closer to the Second Coming of Christ, you can be sure there will be a greater outpouring of evil. Fully give your life to Christ and work for His Glory. Resist the Devil and he will leave. Be ready for a struggle, he wants as many with him in hell as he can get.

 

you're too young and lack enough understanding to be worrying about this right now. Explore around, find answers. You can't expect a growing mind like yours to up and commit to something before you have the whole picture. And stop guilt-tripping yourself, most people go through a sort of soul-searching, belief forming/exploring phase in their teens.

 

My neighbor who was a witch started fooling with the occult when she was young. As I said, she was sent to a couple of mental institutions because of the affect it was having on her. The occult can be very dangerous. She explored around, and got involved in something she could not control. This has nothing to do with being on a guilt trip. Staying away from the occult, is just sound advice.

It is not like Satan starts working when you are an adult... he starts young and sculps your mind slowly to the dark side. Without the Light you will only see dark for all your days.

 

What is light without dark?

If theres nothing but light you'll be blinded by the glare. If theres nothing but dark than you'll be equally as blind. A balance between the light and the dark is the way to do things

mrsmorrison I know what you are feeling. This time last year, I was a hardcore pagan. I would've burnt a bible onsight or fought with a street preacher. Taoism, buddhism, hinduism, druidism, wiccanism, asatru, you name it and I was into it. A friend called it spiritual whoredom

The Lord works in powerful and mysterious ways, but he is working. Satan will always try to pull you away from Him (back into the occult, his domain) but stay on the Lord [the ROCK!] and He will deliver you.

On the contrary I've read the Dhammapada (the other Buddhist holy book) since I became a christian again. Starts with Twin Verses goes into "Animosity does not eradicate animosity, only by loving kindness is animosity eradicated" etc.

I've read the Quran and other books too. I know where these people are coming from, but I am only following the bible.

Satan will probably continue tempting you ( since he knows it got you once), bu tdo your best not to fall one bit. I was heavely into astrology, and he keeps on annoying me with it. But whatever you do, DO NOT let the devil have one opening to ruin you...DO NOT try to budge a little. Refuse his temptation. Eventually he'll give up after a while, I think ( he hasn't given up by me yet, but I'm sure he'll get a bit tired dome day and do it way less...
or even completely stop...)
