Lemony Snicket's A series of unfortunate events

They're making a film of the three books it seems...

only problem is...Jim carrey is playing count olaf and about 4 other parts...that will put me off seeing them probably...

but apart from that i'm looking forward to seeing it...

anyone else?

 

cool, i have read the books , i thought they were okay. I really can't picture Jim Carrey as count olaf!

believe it or not...that is jim carrey...

i just watched the trailer for it...and to be honest...he's not that bad really...he could do with being a bit more evil...he mainly comes off as an eccentric idiot

I'm definitely interested in checking the movie out even though I haven't read the books.

The role doesn't sound like much of a stretch for Jim Carrey; he seems to have played pretty similar characters in many of his movies. Has anyone reading this read the books?

 

Yeah, it'll hopefully be a good movie. Jim Carrey always kicks ass anyways, so yeah.

Personally I was really dissapointed in it, it was beautifully put together but entirely I felt it lacked something -I was bored half way thru it, & it takes a pretty boring film to make me sleepy-; & I agree w/JOsie, Jim Carrey comes of as an eccentric idiot.
