my popularity in middle and high-school never erased that 1 year of suffering in grade school... ever since I always doubted the love or others. It is very sad...

 

So, flip the switch and move on. Let it go. Who cares what these kids thought? You don't have to interact with them, and odds are most would feel stupid for some of the things they did as kids anyway...

I agree. Kids are cruel, and half the time they don't know what they're doing.

thanks... I know all that guys, thing is it's easy to say just let it go, but it's hard to apply... I don't even think about them, but it's subconscious, I know that the reason why I have so little self-confidence is because of how I suffered from their hatred being a kid, at an age where it's so crucial to have good relationships

 

it really is hard to flip that switch... elem school was shit for me, I've become cynical and some other things because of it.....

humerously enough beneath this angry, violent, bitter, cynical exterior I am a sensitive (perhaps oversensitive) human being who was forced to hide behind humor, anger, spite, misanthropy and any number of other defenses to keep from doing something horrible to myself or someone else.....

 

I love you laety, your gorgeous and amazing and wonderful. Ridiculously beautiful. I had a really shitty experience in elementary too (two years of it though) and yes, they've had some lasting damage but you have to work every day at fixing it, at making you love yoruself. I've hheard that this works, goign to the mirror eveyr day and saying "I love myself" or "I love this aspect of omyself"

You are beautiful, however beauty is a form to Plato. The form of beauty has impressed itself in our world and you are that reflection. What I find interesting is that you use much energy reflecting on who you are. That is something that people can't do especially when they have so many things to do in their lives. I reflect on the question why. I am never satisfied with the world i am in, there are many loose ends in which I must try to discover the origin. As far as who I am, it's easy for others to describe me in words or adjectives, but I can't do the same thing. The only way I feel i can decribe myself is when I do an act. Actions define alot for me. Your truth is the one that matters, it is indeed you who makes that a reality. Hypotheses are what we are good at making to understand things, though we have our own truths. And if we knew the truth we wouldn't need to hypothesize. SO here we are in this world of questions.We move forward, it underlies logic and gives us time. Thinking of the past doesn't give us time fix what happened then. I wish I could but it's not possible anymore. To say the word "could" referring to a past event is illogical b/c could implies a future---->>forward we all move as "could" gives me as much time as "will" but we never say "i will did that". And to "would have done" would be as illogical.

 

Guys who have low self esteem themselves like that. If a girl has low self esteem it can be very easy to convince them that you are the one for them simply by showering them with compliments. If a girl isn't used to this, she will either back away thinking the guy is up to something, or if he seems sincere, she could feel like she has found the one man that truely can love her while other simply can't. It makes it easy on a guy because he really doesn't have to do much to maintain the relationship. I think it is sad, but this actually works for some people, and when you think about it, the guy most likely if afraid of rejection himself so he feels that if he hits on a girl that doesn't feel sexy and he makes her feel sexy, he has accomplished something.
