Ive been playing guitar for about 3 and 1/2 years now. Im pretty much concentrate on blues-rock and 99% of what I do is improvisations. More importantly however is the last time I took E I picked up my guitar and simply put I played better (ie cleaner, faster, and my licks just had a magical sound to them). Therefore I came up with the idea of recording a few backing tracks of different styles such as country, blues, surf, jazz, latin, western etc. whilst sober and then in the upcoming week when im planning on rolling I could lay out some solos.

Basically my reason for posting is two fold. Firstly I would like to hear of any guitar + ecstasy experiences. Secondly due to my poor theory skills in other music styles I would love if people could recommend to me some interesting chord progressions (for country, latin, jazz, surf, western) and scales / modes that would sound cool over top of said chord progressions.
