I know it's impossible for human beings to regurgitate. I'm not really sure what causes this, but I'm thinking it's when I havn't eaten in a while, then I suddenly eat >perhaps too fast and not chewing food thoroughly enough..I don't know< But i'll start getting these horrendous chest pains. And I'll have these constant small burps..and when it hurts so bad that I can't move, The food I have already swallowed will come back up with all this really thin, clear saliva. It's not pukeing because there is not stomach acid.

It hurts so bad that i'll just run out to my deck and lean over the side railing with my mouth open while all this food and clear saliva just leaks out. I don't know of this happening to anyone else and I'd really like to know what it is and what causes it exactly....I was thinking heartburn..? but I have never heard of anything like that happening form heart burn.

i've had that from heartburn..or more precisely acid reflux
for me it was when i'd eat then guzzle too much coffee..or some foods..but it would only happen when the heartburn was really severe..i sawa dr & they put me on prilocec which got rid of it

but..you really should talk to a dr, a gastrowhateverthehelltheyrecalled ya kno a stomach dr thing.. cause there could be other more severe causes ..

just a suggestion though...eat more regularly

yeah, i've had that happen when i'm not taking good care of myself. a bit of tums helps a little. but you need to see a doc about it, you may be damaging your esophagus with stomach acids or even bile. eat slowly, chew up your food. take your time.

I had that happen once too. I hadn't eaten for awhile and then i ate something very unhealthy which i also hadnt eaten for years....but when i stopped doing that it went away. everyone here is right, you should probably go see a doctor. but maybe you are eating badly after awhile of not eating or you are eating something bad that you havent eaten in a very long time.....good luck hun :0)

It's not from eating unhealthy foods. I'm not real big on junk. I get it almost every time I eat white rice, which certainly isn't unhealthy. So..that wipes out that theory. From all of your experiences, I think it's safe to say it's from not eating for a long time..then just rushing through your food >although you may not notice<

I get heartburn when I eat foods with carbs, like rice... I've never had anything like that though. Everyone's right about the doctor thing.
