What, in your opinion, is the best cooking smell in the world? It doesn't necessarily have to taste good when you eat it; but when it's on the stove or in the oven or on the grill, it smells great. And what is the worst?

The best smell to me is sauteing onions in butter. The worst is boiling broccoli.
