hey there....my first time posting..... was wondering if any of you mamas (or papas) do peyote stitch? i want to learn so badly! i do macrame and when i see some of these beautiful necklaces that are made with macramed hemp and peyote stitch, it makes me think "damn, i wish i could do that!" so.....if you do peyote stitch, how did you learn? are there any good books i should check out? also, any books that show how to infuse macrame and peyote stitch? much love, stacey

I used a book called "Peyote At Last". I bought it at a bead shop. At that time I didn't have a computer and needed directions in front of me so I could teach myself. There are instructions in the back of the bead & button magazine as well as the Beadwork magazine. If there is a nice bead store in your area they probably have classes on it.
i figured it out from lookin at a peyote stitch i bought. peyote graphs help too if you want to make your own patterns and designs
