Question on about the male/female plants

I saw this video about marijuana growing and tey said that once you find a male take it away from the female plants, ok i know that if you leave them together the female would produce seeds, so the female would make weed and seeds, but not as much weed beacause of work to make the seeds, im a right?

pretty much when the female starts producing the seed it stops making THC also the seed take up room so you get a bud with a shit load of seeds by the time you pick them all out you got half of what you started with

 

yeah thank for that If im growing them outside how far away do the males have to be? if there outside around a diffrent side of my house? and when i find out it is a male what is it good for besides for making seeds?

 

try collecting the pollen from the male plant then paint it on a bottom branch of your female plant, only that branch should produce seed. Unless the pollen spreads, then seeds might start showing up around that branch. But not a lot compared to if the male plant were directly next to the female plant.

 

yeah you pretty much understand it the only good thing about the females having seeds are so you will have more to plant if you need them

 

just clone your female plants, then theres no need for seeds or worrying about male plants

 

thanks But what distance should the male plants from the female? and can u smoke the male plants?

 

other then for seeds males are useless, im not sure how far they apart they should be just think of a reasonable distance and try it out

 

Also, taking away the males will cause the females to produce more trichomes (they're sticky) in the hopes of catching pollen to propagate. More trichomes = more high.

Ehh yuou could do some bubble runs with the males but I think that's just unnecessary work. Chop them up and make stuff with the fibers, like signs or boxes or something.

Male plants suck generally, you can even get female plants to produce these little banana looking things so they can pollinate themselves. If you save them you can do breeding without males. This is soma's technique. Soma is the man.
