Back of dread heads... Thread!

I've been doing a lot of decorating..

the bottem back of my dreads, like the underneath part, it keeps going together at the top by the roots, and i dont want like one HUGE dread at the back underneath, i want to seperate them but how should i come about this? should i cut them apart (it wont be cutting the dread part just the loose hairs connecting them ya know) or rip which would really hurt, or idk haha pointers would be good. THANKS YOU!! lol peace

 

RIP!! cutting you can risk cutting the wrong bits.
Basically grab the two seperate dreads and clench your teeth and pull appart.
if it hurts too much rip a few hairs at a time.

ya the hole back of my head wanted to do that but if u just rip when u wash them like in the shower or when there still wet it dosent hurt very much and if i didnt rip i would end up with like 3 HUGE dreads so i do a lot of riping hope this helps
