New Dress*~

Is that an applique on the front? How did you do that? It's so nice, I wish I could make beautiful artwork on my creations like that.

 

it's lovely. i espescially like the sleeves, and the applique. amy, if you don't mind my asking, why can't you weave any more?

~lenamarina~ the front apron( faerie,butterlies, grass) it's all applique. I just make a drawing on bigggg sheets of paper or transparent plastic, cut out the applique, then trace around the pieces onto the fabric.... Simple

~celtgrrl~ I haven't woven in almost a year now. I never have the time to do it, weaving is such a long, slow process. Sewing is my only income right now, and I just can't make enough weaving. But, I drew up a weaving draft last night and pulled out my yarn, so hopefully this week, I can get a warp on my big loom
Weaving all I have ever wanted to do, I've gone wayyyyy to long without it
