That's pretty ignorant. You aren't old enough to buy anything, anyway.

shivadas whoa man did i offend you or somthing? u seem pissed. and i turn 18 in december.. so i could buy it.. also i have a dad and friends who could buy it for me... so anyone w/ a job, and a friend whos 18+ could technically buy it.
all i was saying is what id pay for those... just smoke a bowl and relax, try to chill man.. its not good to stress out over things on a forum...
    peace and love

PS: my offer still stands on thsoe prices.

shivadas, are you willing to offer discounts for hip forumers? There are a few people who post here that offer discounts and have gotten plenty of business from some hip forumers because of the discounts. You might think about a discount policy and post your link in your sig.

love your style, shivadas...especially the colors you use in the spoons and the shape of the sherlocks. i'd totally buy that amazing pipe at the bottom of the spoon page if i could, i'm thinking of having a friend buy it for me =D

You appear to be a little insulting and condescending. I would think that someone interested in these kinds of items would want to have a friend like me. Just food for thought.

Hey, I'm new to this forum. I don't know what the general feel round here is like. I've put more than 12 years of my life into this business.

I'm not stressed out by silly comments (you should hear some of the phone calls that I get.) Since I'm here anyway, I might as well respond to posts about myself that are not entirely accurate. I'll get to know some of you. Some may even like it. :)

I did not join up with the intention of using these forums to sell my products, however, if there is enough interest I don't see why not.

It wouldn't hurt. If you do it, though, try not to advertise it too much or the mods could take action and have you banned. But maybe just put it in your sig and mention it here and there, and I don't think there would be a problem. You might want to contact Skip(the webmaster) and see if there are any specific guidelines you need to follow.

and anotherthing though about me.. im incredibly cheap when it comes to stuff like food brands and such, i choose the cheaper off brand stuff cause i feel its just as good, and i save money, which i do not have alot of. so what i was emplying those are the highest prices id pay for any bong bowl bubbler w/e.. i would probbly never in my life pay more then $100 on any piece. and that bvong is not the dream bong that i see in my dreams. if i saw the bong i could imagion tehn id possibly pay like $150.... thats a maybe... but it would have to be my dream bong

    Shivadas,

My intent was not to upset you at all, just pointing out that there really isn't any difficult work on those two pieces that would warrant the high price.

How tall is that first piece? It looks 8" maybe? Tell me specifically what makes the piece worth $850. The facet and the marble obviously add to the cost, but what else? There is nothing special about the frog, I've seen more detailed ones on $150 steam rollers at local smoke shops. I'm talking about intricate patterns on the underside, very detailed fingers.

There is no difficult work on the main part of the bubbler, just simple coloring. It's a nice piece, don't get me wrong, but for $850 you could get some extremely worked bubblers, or even a roor with worked section.

The panda bear isn't worth that either, its' nothing but a straight tube of amber glass, the bowl, a few little spike things, and the panda itself. Again, what part of the piece makes it worth so much?

It's above production work, and very nice, don't get me wrong. But neither of them fall into the "heady" category that usually demands $400-$800 a piece.

Shit, if I had the money I would buy the frog bubbler. I clicked on the picture an saw the close-ups and it looks like a VERY high quality piece. It looks like a lot of work went into it and it definitely seems to be worth the price but, then again, you can never really know the quality of a piece based solely on pictures. I am also not a connoisseur of blown glass as TWAT seems to be, so I really know absolutely nothing about anything I just typed. Disregard.

I didn't say you claim to be a connoisseur. I said you SEEM to be a connoisseur. You seem to know everything that a person would ever need to know about blown glass pieces. Based on what I've read, anyway.
