I had heard so much about the movie, so when I caught it on TV I was really looking forward to it, but honestly, after the first 30-45 minutes or so went by, the story was still so un-engaging and slow, with no real points of interest, I turned it off.
Way too drawn out. If you can't interest the viewer within a half-hour to 45 minutes, how long is it going to take?

Its not my favourite movie, but it doesn't deserve the criticism people are giving it. It was really original, real and honest and it it didn't really try and be anything other than that. Charlie Kaufman (the writer) is a pioneer of all that artsy stuff, and you can get a real insight into him if you watch 'Adaptation'.

Films like 'You, me and everyone we know' which basically just copy the storyline of every popular arthouse movie from the past 5 years are the real lemons.

I actually finished watching this movie about 20 minutes ago. It was one of the trippiest movies I have ever seen. I want to see it while shrooming, though I probably won't understand shit about it when I'm tripping.

Great movie.

 

i have tried to watch this movie twice now and always fall asleep, i think it starts out great, but it gets so boring in the middle, i'm just not a great jim carrey fan, he gets on my nerves after awhile, but i think the concept of the movie story was great, just needed more action in the middle and ending. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz oh well at least i had a good nap

i love this movie. it is an unique concept. i love Kate Winslet in this movie. Beautiful that no matter what, love will always find you again.

 

i abso-fucking-lutely love this movie.... i can watch it for days on end....

it's so brilliant the way it takes a normal 'love story' and just turns it on its head....


and yes, kate winslet is HOT!!!!! in this movie... i never really found her attractive, and i still don't think she is that attractive, but Clem (the character she plays) is FINE
