Waiting in line doesn't annoy me. But people who start complaining about waiting in line while waiting annoy me. People are just so impatient and they can be so rude to the cashier, it makes me wanna slap them in the face. It's not the cashier's fault if there's a line, goddammit. Yeah, I used to work in a grocery store for a bit. Really made me hate people.
I guess for me it depends on my mood.... rarely though am i patient in a queue... and dont you always find youve hit the slowest queue?... the one where the cashier scans at a snails pace compared to the cashiers next to him/her.... or the shopper who spends 5 minutes trying to see where they have put their money.... I really try not to show i'm impatient as its not the most appealing quality but sometimes it does get to me..... worse than the grocery store queue is the Traffic Jam..... miles of cones making a dual carriageway a single lane and not a roadwork in sight.....aaarrrggghhh!!! or is that just a UK problem?
HAHA, it's not just a UK problem, I can vouch for that! Anyway, grocery lines don't generally bother me too much...I usually end up cracking some jokes while waiting in line...usually makes time pass and people laugh at me...which generally happens a lot on its own without the jokes. Since I've been going to Trader Joe's, my grocery shopping experience has much improved.
I hate when that happens. It seems like it's more in stores like CVS or Eckert too. The big Drug Store type places. When you are on line it's like watching paint dry it takes so long.
it does annoy me when i'm in a hurry, otherwise it's cool, i get to have some thinking time for myself.
I do not mind lines I just stand and have sexual fantasies about the people around me. Perverts have more fun in life.
I think youre right ZePpeLinA... trouble is I'm almost always in a hurry...or tired after work.... or its PMS... lol...i'm trying to excuse my impatience.... I'm not rude to check out staff... but inside i get all wound up... I guess the problem is often that grocery shopping is a necessary evil...not many people like to do it... often i go at midnight to avoid the queues only to find theres only 1 check out open and the 20 people in the store are all waiting at it... Then i feel sorry for the cashier... it cant be fun having so many huffing puffing toe tappers on hold....
none of the groceries around here have those, but I want them now! Especially at the local grocery store.... I don't like shopping there (they fired me after one day because I couldn't work that sunday and they're expensive) but there aren't any other grocery stores for quite a ways
LOL LOL In reality I can't do coke anymore-I take blood thinners. Not a good combo. But I did so much years ago I could have bought Peru.
Oh, I hate those things. They're great for a few things, but then you get the people that have a cart jammed full of groceries and they don't know how to work the machine and it's such a headache. Plus, they have certain items that need to be approved by a store employee, so you have to wait for one to be available to help you and then wait for them to figure out the right code for whatever item it is and get the manager's OK to check some stuff. It's a hassle. I'd rather just let someone ring all my shit up for me and bag it all for me. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I feel kind of bad for the people working the registers looking at the self-scanners with resentment knowing that the machine will soon eliminate their jobs.
No, I don't. Maybe you should try getting blazed more often, rather than chastise us in the MJ forum for it.
