The UnSung Heroes of PHISH shows

what are some shows that you know kick ass, but never get any recognition.....


9.25.00- this amazing show opens with a beatles cover "everybody's got somthing to hide except for me and my monkey", which has an awesome jam on it that was left out of the only other version they played on 10.31.94.....it has a sick 15+ minute "Down With Diesease" they just won't quit......a perfect "lizards".....an out of nowhere "tweezer"....and "harry hood"....and "boogie on" in the encore....its all well played jams, and an amazing setlist....go and listen.....


2.14.03- The first show of the "post-hiatus tour", it is amazing.....it opens up with a "migh sweet one" and they do a rocking "chalkdust".....but the over looked part of this show is the "Fee>Taste" it has this amazing harmonic jam and beautiful segue into Taste that just has you cumming! but after that 20 min....they don't hestitate long before jumping into an amazing "BATHTUB GIN"....this was the beggining of a great year of bathtubs, this launched off the monster jams in almost every bathtub after....but in 2004 the bathtubs dissapeared for the most part.....this show would be a ten if a kid didn't run onstage during "AC/DC Bag"....but you can't win them all....go and listen....



the entire Las Vegas 2004 weekend.....theres just too much to go into detail about. but i will say this.....get all three shows and try and listen to them back to back (if your like me this is very easy) and the three shows almost seem to make up this one big, beautiful show....one picks up where the other left off.....maybe these are the ramblings of a tripper, but you'll find it true when ya do.....

 

10.29.94....this show is lost in the madness of Halloween....but this show is its own masterpeice of madness!!! YEM !!!! its out of control!!!!!

 

i've been a huge fan of 2.14.03 ever since it came out on livephish. tons of energy in that show. gotta respect it.

 

yeah 2.14.03 is so kick ass....would of been perfect, if that guy didn't run out on stage....
