I mean think about it .it isnt really wat you say its how you say it and mostly how the other person takes it. and it often depends on what the other person thinks of you.and if the moment when you say it is right . and if so shouldnt we think of these things before we say something.i mean just to be careful not to be offensive to the people that are saying these things to
"there is no reality, only perception" i can never remember who said that but i quote it all the time. beilieving in that gives me hope because things in my own life are only as bad as i percive them. i know what you're thinking- i'm a little nuts. and maybe I am but with all the bad things in the world i try to make my world as happy as possible. as far as being offensive, i agree that we should think before we speak. try to see the other person's side before state our side. i think that's the only way that we will truly be heard. although there are times, when situations are so desperate- that we must speak the truth without fear of the consequences.
i never really thought about it but i have to agree. in a situation it can go either way like you stated earlier depending on the way it is said and how the other person interprets it.
I think perception affect any given individual's reality enough that it is important to relax our perceptions once in a while. Sometimes its a matter of not trying to be anything and just be and allow others to do the same without expecting them to be someone/thing.
I always think about this, I even think about it in terms of vision and stuff. You don't know what the world looks like to someone else, you don't know that their interpretation of something like colors is the same. So maybe we all like the same color, but we call it different things, just because that is what we are taught.
Yep, how we precieve religious texts, how we precieve the constitution, how we precieve others.... you could substitute interperate if you want.
