The youngest is 15 so far, the oldest 50 something. As an anti-ageist, I don't let age get in the way of friendship.

In the past, it was actually even more diverse. I would be at a party where my friend would bring his daughter who was 12 at the time, and everyone sort of considered her at least as an aqcaintance by then anyway, because she was often hanging out with us. And there would be a few who were above 50, who would tell us interesting stories about life.

Young people tend to keep you feeling young, while older people provide knowledge. And people your own age may keep you competitive in a good way...if that makes any sense.

before this summer, all my friends were around my age...but now I work at wal-mart, (go me) and I'm friends w/most of the ppl I work with. I think the oldest girl that I talk to a lot is about 30, and we get along really well.

well right now i only hang out with people around my age, but last summer i hung out a lot with people older than me, from 18-25.
age doesn't bother me at all, so i agree with AT, I don't let age get in the way of friendship :)

I've hung out with some really cool people in their late 30s. I don't generally hang out with younger people though.

hmmm.. I get along fine with most people, but I wouldn't hang out with my mothers friends without her around, even though they're great people. It's just, I dunno, in very different places in life. Plus they end up talking about a video game I don't play all the time :p most of my friends are around my age though, in the 18-30 sort of bracket, most are close to 20/21

I don't go to much younger. But my youngest friend is 15 and I'm 17. My oldest friend is probably 42, and he's my boss. Me and my boss can talk about anything and everything.

I hang out with people from 18 - 65... Now take that same idea and apply a sexual relationship to it... what age range would you feel comfortable having a relationship beyond buddies with?

    I don't trust anyone over 17.

And kids kinda get on my nerves, right until the age 18 or so.

Really I think maybe on the day before someone turns 18, it's pretty copasetic. :D

I think that's one of the cool things about our kind of folk...we don't really care about age...
most of the people I know now are my within a few years of me...but I have friends decades away.
