ive been away from the forums for a while and ive come back to find a few individuals. not naming names, dealing out some harsh vibes to people for example homosexuals, people with short hair( or shorthairz ) etc etc etc. lets nip this in the bud guys, lets stop it now and make the hipforums they peaceful & happy place it should be where all are welcome and free to be who they want to be and lead the lifestyle they choose. peace out
I just recently joined here, and it was because it seemed like a peaceful place to go. To hear of this discrimination isn't cool. I don't dig that.
It's all fun and games to the people starting all the bullshit. I wouldn't actually take it seriously.
That place definetely must be peaceful I hope that this discrimination is only a tiny little problem that we can solve
compared to a lot of forums i have found that even though this one has its small "blemishes" (all forums do) but hipforums has been the most understanding and open-minded so far....
Keep taking everything so seriously and you'll get ulcers. Besides, freedom of speech is by far more important than political correctness.
Yeah I've been around a pretty long time now and took a few long absences...never came back to find any real prejudice... I took some ragging for cutting my hair(from past my shoulders to about half an inch) but none of it was serious...I'd say just ignore any bad vibes...because this place is overall very peaceful
Good point, especially on the political correctness! No matter what you say, you are going to offend SOMEBODY... But on the origional post, that is something I have noticed from the beggining... I have noticed some bad vibes too, comeing from people who are so hardcore set on their opinions, wanting everyone else to beleive what they beleive, and convinced that THEY are absolutely right about everything they type... I think it is pretty sad really, that so many people are willing to say what they want, without ANY consideration for other's feelings. For example, I don't support the homosexuality, but I have spoken with homosexuals who didn't have a problem with me because they realize that I am not homophobic, and that I see them just like any other person. Free speech IS very vital! However, with that right, comes the responsibility of not using it to be a jerk!
