So I got a postcard from the "selective services" telling me to sign up for the draft. Fuck that. What will happen if I ignore the card?
You can't get federal aid for college. You can't get approved for subsidized loans at all. You basically are denied any and all govermental help if you don't register. I'm not sure but I believe that includes your social security money as well.
no college loans...no credit cards if they find out.....and there are some scholarships you will not be able to get, but i do not knwo abotu all of them.....that is what they say, you can get a credit card without registering with selective service but if they find out you can get in some sort of trouble i think
once you are 18, you must sign up for selective service, like they said above..... I mean, I did it at age 18, and now Im here over 30, didnt have to go to war or nothing......
Theres not going to be a draft anytime soon and you'll get denied benifits. Plus chicks get turned on hearing your selective service registration stories. Fact.
I'd much rather tell a "stabbed in the thigh by a foil" story if only because that's a lot more funny.......
I think he misunderstood your post, I had to reread it a few times before I actually got it myself...... it was somehow worded in a strange manner....
I think the chicks would dig it more than selective services stories at least, the nerdy chicks would
So errr.. What if you sign up late? Haha I always just figured if I ignored it they'd sign me up anyway.. Eh..
my bf never sent in that card, its still in his desk...he is 23 and they havent sent him anything, called, or anything...i think all that is a bunch of lies imo...cause he doesnt have a problem getting anything... he has three credit cards and can get loans just like that....
