not sure where this goes...girl's hair (on the head!)

ok, so first of all i'd like to say that to me, one of the VERY first things i notice about a girl is her hair, especially if its in any way cool or unusual. what i want to know is why long hair is considered feminine, and why almost no straight girls will even consider cutting their hair very short?

its wierd, really...the feminist movement "liberated" women and now they can dress however they want - whether its a long flowing skirt, pants, mens clothes, whatever, with no second thought. similarly men are now allowed to wear long ponytails without being labeled as gay or a hippy...

yet men are severely hesitant to wear skirts even if they find them attractive or comfortable, and women seem severely hesitant about cutting their hair very short. i find this extremely distressing, because to me almost nothing is sexier than a really shorthaired woman!

of course, simply having a certain hairstyle isnt enough to be attractive for either gender, but short hair really brings out a pretty face....plus theres just something sweet, cuddly, cute and sexy about really short cropped hair...ideally like a short "buzz cut," what some people refer to as shaving, but which leaves a nice little bit of fuzz behind. thats how i cut my hair, and it has enormous benefits...no tangled hair, its super comfy, in the winter you need a hat but you dont have the problem of your hair freezing into a hard mass of hair and ice if you take a shower before leaving your home, you dont need to take such financially costly steps to keep it looking good, hell you can wash it with bar soap and it will look just as nice as if you were using some expensive shampoo and conditioning treatment! no more money wasted on haircuts, because a 20 dollar set of trimmers will allow you to do it at home by yourself.

are there any other people on here that think short hair is not only convenient and comfortable, but that on either sex it CAN be absolutely fantastically sexy? i did a google search, and here are some examples of what i'm talking about....

not even always necessarily THAT short, but still pretty close to the head...




funny, you can find almost anything online if you look hard enough, but its tough to find pics of women with hair this short, and tougher still to find pics of beautiful women with hair this short! but hell, they DO exist, and imo it can be incredibly pretty. my ex had hair as short as mine is now when i met her, except for her bangs which she grew out pretty long....anyway, i thought it was hot as fuck, and while this isn't a great photo of her, it does show off her hair, and i'm at a loss for trying to just find pictures, so i figure i'll post one of her and i from back in the day...



so basically, i just want to know if any guys agree with me that short hair is sexy, and if any girls agree as well. any girls out there actually have their hair this short or at least a good bit shorter than normal? any of you used to or would like to but are nervous about actually doing it?

id like to see more beautiful girls unashamedly showing off their short hair!

(used to be an absolutely ravishing young girl at these forums with really short hair....maybe some of you know who i mean...havent seen her around in ages though...)

 

really short hair can look really good on women, or really awful. It all depends on their facial structure.


I wouldn't cut my hair that short. I don't have the face shape for it. I also like being able to do things to my hair. I mean, yes I usually style it pretty much the same. but having the option of doing something interesting with it, without having to have a wig, is very appealing. I think that's why a lot of women don't cut their hair very short - it limits style options tremendously

 

its true, it CAN look really bad, but i think that when it looks good...hot damn! i'm all over it...

i can't speak as a woman, but as a man i'd have to say....long hair is GREAT in a number of respects, but i just love the way it FEELS to have short hair, and i think it looks good! in fact, for a while i missed my longer hair (each time i've cut it this short after having had it long enough to put in a ponytail or even a bun or braids had i so desired) but now...i'm all about short hair. its wonderful, regardless of your gender!

the ONLY thing i miss about having long hair anymore is something rather sexual....because to me....whooo....ok, so i LOOOOOOVE giving head to a chick, and in the bedroom i normally like to be dominant, but there is absolutely NOTHING hotter AT ALL in my experience than having hair long enough to be pulled....lay down on my back, having my girl take a more dominant role, completely naked straddling my face, but keeping herself a good two or three inches over my mouth, grabbing me harshly by the hair and pulling me up to meet her....grinding herself into me, pushing, writhing, doing anything she wants, and giving no concern whatsoever to whether or not i'm comfortable, can breathe well, anything...just being pulled by the hair and used and treated like a toy....


mmmmm......so yeah, sometimes i miss having long hair, but for the most part i LOVE short hair. the only times i was lucky enough to have the situation i just described above were with the chick in the last picture i posted. of course, i feel guilty talking about that kind of thing AND posting her pic online without her knowledge, especially since we've not been together (or even spoken) in quite some time....so....i guess after a day or two i'll probably at least take down the pic of her....but damn....best sex i can imagine.....

 

I'd look awful with really short hair.

It was really short when I first put my dreads in. I looked like a pineapple. And before that, I had the long in the front, short and spiked up in the back hairstyle. The back pissed me off, so I took scissors to it. It was maybe a half inch long. I hated it.

You gotta have the right facial shape to pull off really short hair. And if a chick does, then all the power to her. Pixie cuts are adorable.

As per guys.. Nothing is hotter than a guy with long hair in a kilt. Nothing. Except maybe a guy with long hair in leather ass pants.

 

i think the whole skirt thing is one of the wierdest social norms i can think of. in many other countries, and in almost every culture at some point in their past, skirts or skirt-like garments were considered normal attire for men, from sarongs to kilts to long tunics to various types of robes and so on....

its one of the most incredibly comfortable types of clothing you can wear during warm weather, not to mention it looks damn good. i dont see anything "gay" or wierd about a guy choosing to dress this way, but were i to decide to wear a skirt, i'd probably get beat up just walking down the street....odd....

anyhow, yeah...i guess it does take a certain kind of facial structure for a woman to have really short hair and still look great, but when it works, its amazing...i just dont understand why people don't agree with me in general. i kinda want to know if there are any other guys out there that think the same as me in this matter? guess i just have wierd taste!

oh well, i guess if other guys don't find short haired women sexy then when i meet one it just raises my chances by that much

 

yeah you need to have a very good face to have almost no hair. i mean most hairstyles are ment to make you look better, make the best of your face, bring out the best and so on.. but with short hair your face has to be perfect.

And most people do not have the right shaped head ( i'm sry, i used words like The Right and Perfect .. i just ment good looking or aesthetic)

 

i dunno...in many cases i agree, but in some not so much....for example, the woman in the first pic i posted may have a slightly "too big" forehead, but i think she still looks very pretty, even if a longer haircut may be a bit more flattering. also, the fact that she is willing to wear the short hair in and of itself is attractive to me for some reason. still, i think the other pics are way better...
