Well let me put it to you this way: Noah saw less rain than we have...... It's been raining nonstop around here.....I mean, I like it when it rains, but geez...... Anyway, what about up there w/ ya'll?
I'm from Coushatta! Well, originally. I was born in Shreveport. How cool! I've never even met anyone that knew where Natchitoches was. You know, I was almost in Steel Magnolias, but my mom told the casting guy that he couldn't dye my hair red for the part, so they picked someone else. Welcome! Hope you like it.
Yeah here too.I dont know whats up this year but plenty of rain .As a matter of fact its raining now(LOL). Well at least the farmers cant complain about drought this year.
that's cool, Happy..... Steel Magnolias is so played out, I swear.... They play the movie literally ALL DAY in the tourist center on front street..... BD~ today's like the first day it hasn't rained....*crossing ingers*..... so we'll see how long it lasts....lol..... ~Trin
Well, there's not much else to talk about down there. They still have all the autographed promo shots hanging in all the restaurants...hehe... I love it. My grandparents always go to Sea and Sirloin in Campti and they're still so proud. I love it. Are they finished renovating that old hotel downtown? The last time I was there, they had stripped it down to just the shell of the building. It was insane.
yeah it's not a hotel now.... The top two stories are condos (which you know are gonna' go for like, a million dollars) and the bottom story is, of course, more shops....*sigh* commercialization rocks....... They put up a new fancy schmancy hotel on church street, though..... and six months or so after they fixed the keyser bridge, they shut the front street bridge down because it was sinking or something..... drama drama drama.... ~Trin
They shut down the front street bridge?? I hate the newer one. It's so ugly. That sucks. I guess it's not as bad as the one in Shreveport with all the neon rod things on it. Yuck. I've never actually been into any of those shops. I used to go see santa down by the lake/river. It's like both. Weird. I guess it's technically a lake, though. Condos, huh? Sounds fancy. That hotel was getting kind of icky, I guess...or it had been for a while.
