  13. the fact that I'm smarter 99% of the population

(quote enough for you, I'm sure you wouldn't have gotten the reference if I hadn't)

i've always wondered what an atheist believes in...

  15. athiests believe really hard that god doesn't exist

you can't prove it, so they may have more faith than any religious zealot out there.....

    universal negatives = unprovable......

but beliving in the non-existance of something is not really believing in something..

don't they believe in something they can affirm it exists, even conceptually? anything at all?? like an ideology that is based on affirmation...or something..[IMG]

    I'm not an athiest......

  18. k then, trendy what have yous

you are definitly one of those trend people.......

  19. you have to make a leap of faith to believe anything doesn't exist if only because the universe supposedly infinite

but the thing is you cannot logically prove that something does not exist, there is always an argument

example: "there aren't any wmd's in iraq"

    "prove it"

    "we haven't found any"

"you haven't looked in the right places"

"we searched the entire country, dug down to the earths crust and hunted through every cubic millimeter"

"well he doesn't STILL have them there, he moved them to syria"

    so on and so forth.....

and that's something tangible and fairly large that in reality can only be stored in a limited number of places and is relativly easy to find.....

I'm jewish by birth, but now I'm just a believer in a higher power...

    Taoism is pretty interesting, though.

I thought you weren't a creature driven to stereotype? I guess we're all human.....

I am not a "trend person". At all.

At this point you're just trying to offend me, but I really don't care. I'm not going to hold a grudge anymore.

You're a pretty cool guy in general so I don't want to forever damn myself in your eyes...with that said: I'm not an asshole, I'm not an agressive faggot, I don't overly generalize, and I don't think my ego is large.
