Ok, inspired by the maha mantra thread, I figured it would be fun to do a pushpanjali, a flower puja. So here is what we do... We find a flower that we really like and offer it to our diety of choice, along with a short mantra/prayer. I'll go first... Om Sri Ganeshaya Namah
Ooo...that's really cool. Great idea! Shree Krishna Govinda Hare Muraare He Naatha Naaraayana Vaasudeva Gopaalaa Gopaalaa Devakee Nandana Gopaalaa
I know not a Hindu diety...but I think Jesus needs a flower too. IMHO the pictures of Lord Jesus with children are the most beautiful... "Weeping at Thy feet I fall, Wearied, burdened, lonely, sad; Thou dost bid me come, my Lord, Thou alone canst make me glad; Jesu, grant my soul release, Bid, O bid me go in peace."- "Jesu! Speak to me in Love!"

Ave Maria! Gratia Plena. Dominus tecum. Benedicta tui in mulieribus, et benedictus fructisventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, oro pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen. Hail Mary! Full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

My salutations to such a Goddess of knowledge.
What flowers can I offer you, Krishna... Every cell of your body is like a fresh blue lotus. You alone are in every form and place, in every offering. All that is mine to offer is my ego, my karmas, my vasanas and attachments and faults. Please take these as my offering to you, Bhagavan, and please fill their place with pure love for your lotus feet.
Door of my Heart, Open wide I keep for thee Will Thou Come, Will Thou Come, Precious Krishna Come to Thee, Will My Days Fly Away Without Seeing you my Lord, Night and Day, Night and Day, I look for thee Night and Day.
Thought this was kind of cool and that it was appropriate for this thread...but for some added mystery...I'm not gonna tell you what it is...and you'll just have to trust me that its pretty spiffy http://www2.uic.edu/stud_orgs/religion/hindu/page5.html
