What is the best track Deep Purple brought out in Your Opinion? Mine is Black Night, Smoke on the water,Strange Kinda Women
Lazy - that Jon Lord keys solo that leads it in smokes me every time! Anything off machine head, my pick for best metal album ever, is a close second. I do love Perfect Strangers, later DP but such a sweet sound.
Deep Purple originally wanted the track "Never Before" to be the commnercial hit song from their 1972 album "Machine Head". However the record producers etc. didn't think so, they wanted "Highway Star" and "Smoke On The Water". "Never Beofre" is the deeper track on the album and the favorite of the member of Deep Purtple
There is this stop in the middle of "Never Before" with an very short sad sounding instrumental with synthesizers playing a down beat.
anyone into the Glover remixes? Hearing other stuff on Machine Head was amazing to me, the first release having been burned into my memory long ago!
i love hush...hush is amazing. smoke on the water makes me wanna headbang just a little too much. but i like it that way.
child in time is gigantic ... but i prefer the mark I group... nevertheless: 1) Child in Time - ian gillan is god 2) Lalena (cover by donovan`s song) 3) Blind but everyone of their calm songs is a hit!
Lazy I'm lazy ...I'll just stay in bed I'm laaaazy ....I'll just stay in bed Don't want no money I dont want no bread
Every song on In Rock and Fireball. Not a good album after that till Burn. Machine Head is fair, but highly overrated
