what is a blunt?

I had never heard the term "smoke a blunt" before I chanced upon this forum, can someone explain what one is please?

A blunt is like a joint, only larger... instead of being packed in small papers, blunts use a CIGAR wrap to hold the weed. So all in all... it holds a much larger amount of weed, and it hits pretty hard.

 

haha wow. yeah blunts are ghetto ass but if u have a couple of friends and a lotta weed i like to roll one. a pain in the ass but eh just get a friend to do it.

king size rolling paper wont do the job of a blunt, my friend. =)

 

blunts burn slower. and are harsher. but i think they waste less smoke

and of course they stay lit

 

I am a bit confused, when you say its made with a cigar, do you mean you unwrap a ready rolled cigar, and then fill it up with weed and then roll it up again? or can you buy cigar type papers?

 

either way. alot of places sell "blunt wraps" or if u want u can hollow out a cigar and pack it full of weed

it uses a fuckload of weed though so im not a huge fan

Began by people disecting cigars as you say, this is tricky and takes A LOT of practice. Nowadays thankfully you can buy blunts especially for us dope smokers and you just roll it up and stick it. They also have flavoured blunts

 

which country you in gixer? yer can buy prerolled papers for blunts here in the uk easy enough...

not much use if yer've got a good dealer and know yer own needs to get a buzz.....usually favoured by new smokers or those who dont mind wasting weed...

 

cool, thanks for the explanation, I have never heard of that method before, so its a new one on me! Never seen it been done and I dont think its possible to buy blunt wraps in the uk, or at least I have never seen them.

 

yeah, they around, not common tho'....i only know one shop that stocks them...online buying is prolly the easiest way to get 'em here

A blunt packs usually more than 2 grams into one big ass cigar. Sometimes you can get like 10 gram blunts, which are more the size of a cuban cigar. My favourite is the Captain Black Cherry. Just hollow one out without ripping it open (roll it in between your fingers gently or bend the tip of a pin into a barb and empty it). They taste pretty good and you can feel like a pimp smoking one while you're packing the empty one. They taste pretty fuckin good as cigars, too!
