Mine are Coldplay, The Darkness and The White Stripes. They all have more of that 70's sound than other musical acts of this decade.

The Out Crowd, their singer (Matt Hollywood) used to be in the Brian Jonestown Massacre and wrote some of that band's best songs. Their website has a few songs. I guess they sound like BJM and the Dandy Warhols with a little more of a country influence.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, their new album sounds like a Stonesy/Bob Dylan kind of thing, it's fucking great.

jeff magnum has made some live apperinces this year, one with olivia tremor control, and another with elf power...so maybe he is slowly coming out of hiding :D
