online pen pal

It would be cool to have an online pen pal (I suppose that's the right way to say it). It would be nice to talk to someone my own age. I'm not talking about a cyberspace relationship. It would just be cool to communicate with someone via email (about whatever) without giving out personal information. Not because I'm that paranoid, but there are benefits to mystery.

 

This way I would have someone to talk to when I'm in a mood to rant. lol

What's the difference having a pen pal or having something up on here and the choice of having 1000's of people writing to you?
