heyyy has anyone heard any info about pink floyd getting back together to do a tour?? If you find any info let me know!!!!!!
definitely haven't heard anything about that...and although it would be AMAZING i gotta agree that i doubt it will ever happen...
I heard this rumour a few months ago... and a year ago... and two years... and five years ago... Forgive me if I don't show any enthusiasm to the latest hype.
they got back together for live-8 that's it........ i'd pay anything to see them live but it'll never happen again
the only reason they got together for live 8 was because they said they felt the problems live 8 adressed pretty much overuled all these pussy fights within the band...which is true...but i doubt we'll see a tour also...but hell, if one get's together hopefully they won't charge too much and i'll go see them.
They got offered $600 million dollors or summint to tour America, they turned it down, they are def not getting back together to tour!
floyd members must not need the money, that's cool, why tour if they don't have to, especially if they don't like one another. i love em no matter what, listening to them right now.

People who have a deep rift between them (plus the oodles of cash they have from royalties) can turn down $600 million. I too would like to see the Floyd reunite. My co-worker and I both fantasized about flying to england JUST to see them @ Live 8. I would have done it in a heartbeat if he'd agreed to go with me.
I would have done that. But, being the float-through-life-pay no attention to anything-until-its -too-late-type of person I am, I didn't even know they were re-uniting for Live-8 until 3 days before the concert.
i definitely would of been there at live-8 ... if i had the money they weren't offered $600 million ....... it was only $100-150 million (i heard this on the radio today) maybe one day though.... but w/ my luck if they did reunite the tickets would be WAY too expensive, but i'd buy them anyway..
pink floyd & roger waters will never tour together again. people need to accept that, but... roger waters 2006 tour.... that is happening!
if they will tour, then indeed pigs will fly. seriously though, I doubt if this will ever happen...... money spoke when they all got together for live8...... but roger and dave cannot get along, and I dont see them ever reuniting again....... dave is a family man, now too, and I dont think he wants to go for the long tour.... neither does rog........ Ive heard them going on tour since 1996, and it hasnt happened. so dont get your hopes up.
So how much money would it take to get you to sell your beliefs, your creative soul? THat's kinda what you are asking people who cannot create together to do. And those "encouraged" reunion tour are usually a disappointment, to say the least.
