The Three Stooges

Niiiiice! I love the bits where you can see their Vaudeville roots. Like the Niagra Falls one, and many little scenes between Larry and Moe. They are coming on in 1 hour here! Love the Stooges! And, BTW, the one with the women's hater club, wasn't that the one where they do it all in rhyme? Truly a classic!

And wasn't Joe in the one where some lady gets reincarnated as a horse? That was a pretty good one for not being a Curly or Schemp.

 

Yeah, that was Joe Besser in the horse one. I also liked the short where he married Tiny, that really heavy woman. At the end, she picked him up and carried him away.

Hey wait a minute, Tarabelle. You're a girlie. I thought the Stooges weren't supposed to be popular with women. You know, they have them on Spike, because that's the first TV network for men!

 

At the end of that sketch, the triple-decker bed they were in collapses with Moe stuck on the bottom.

Looney Tunes are great too.

 

WHAT! They are on tv, what time? My brother & I had taped a bunch of those shows back when we were kids, ah memories. Might have to get my husband hooked on it now.

 

Spike has them every day at 9am EST. AMC or AE has a Stooge marathon every New Year's eve all day long. They'll probably do it this year too.

I know, I know, but I can't help it - they make me giggle with glee! And I watch Spike quite alot actually. I got totally hooked on the James Bond marathon over the Thanksgiving holiday. They do show some pretty good movies here and there.

Curly is the man! Besides I kind of look like him, and love that song "The Curly Shuffle!"

 

I like that tune, The Curly Shuffle. That was done by some college kids back in the 80s.

Well, now the voting is basically what I expected. That's why I lined up the poll that way. I admit Curly is a comic genius. But Shemp wasn't so bad.
