Anthem of the Sun

    Anthem of the Sun is an earlier Grateful Dead album. I very highly recommend it to anyone looking for some insane music/noise to listen to when flying high. Most dead for that matter would work, but I think this album especially opens the mind.

    yeah man, the space on thats it for the other one is insane and the cryptical envelopment effects are insane. But the whole album isnt that psychedelic.

    i was gona recommend some other really insane spaces and trippy dead shows but thanks to gdp there are no more sbds

    i have that album on my computer, havent heard it untill now, im listening to Aligator.

    sounds like good shit

    man, that is a GREAT tune... and i love jer's tone on it, hits me in my soul man... and ya cant beat pig doin his thing... hung up waitin for a windy day...

    Most every version of Alligator (when Pigpen was alive) is EXCELLENT!! But if you want to hear the best ever, check out 2-28-69 at Fillmore west set 2.
