im thinking of building (or buying) some sort of outdoor excersize pen (fairly large) so that my smaller dog lily can go outdoors and run around often. my older dog daisy gets to do this anyway since she will not leave our yard if we allow her to go free, but lily is another story. when she gets loose we will spend about an hour chasing her around the neighborhood and its dangerous for her since there are bigger dogs down the road who are very aggressive. lily wont stay in our yard so she needs a pen. the thing about it is that she is an "expert" digger and im certain that if i were to just put any old fence up she would "groundhog" her way out of it in no time. does anyone know of any way around this problem...a way i could put up a fence and block her from being able to dig her way underneath it? i know nothing about this type of thing so i thought maybe someone would know of something that would be useful for my situation.....

i am just going by that john travolta movie phenomenon, but you could bury the fence in the ground about a foot or two so when she digs she will just eat fence.

Yeah i suppose it is not exactly practical... Have you thought about using one of those zip line things so she is attached but still free to run around?
