Hey all! Hmm it's nice in here. Comfy. Anyway, I'm Ciara *It's pronounced Like Key-rah, as opposed to see-air-uh, she just stole my name (is bitter none...no..not at all)*, female. I'm from Meath in Ireland, which is about 40km from Dublin, where I go to college/uni(for you UK people). I'm 17 and I'm a student at Dun Laoighre school of art and design..Studying English Literature and Film studies. I love love my course, wonderfully wonderfull and full of lovely open minded people, albeit a little scenesterist. I'm a writer, and thats really what I want to do with my life. I write Prose, Poems, Songs, everything under the sun really. I'm going to be interning at an international poetry festival next March which I cannot wait for...*sigh* People get shocked when they find out I'm 17..mostly becuase it's pretty young to be in college..I don't mind at all really. It just means I have an extra year or two to play around with after I get my degree (Then I'll be getting my masters and a PHD.) I'll be 18 next June anyway, so it's all good. I love music. Its my passion. I adore 60s-70s music, but also alot of British Indie music like...Well for instance the Libertines are my heroes, (Well them and George Harrison) Some Bands I like : The beatles, the libertines, the rolling stones, the moody blues, the cribs, baby shambles, yeti, the smiths, the velvet underground, bob dylan, the band, the who, mamas and the papas, woodie guthrie, joan baez, janis joplin, arlo guthrie, the clash, the ramones, the arctic monkeys, the von bondies, the small faces, the kinks, the sex pistols, david bowie, elton john, prince, dean martin, the lucksmiths, the pipettes, george harrison, the traveling wilburys, Delays, deep purple, led zeppelin, The decemberists, rilo kiley, dresden dolls, metro riots, pulp, suede, blur, gorillaz, Devendra Banhart, Kate Bush, Regin Spektor....Yes there are piles more but this is getting extensive. I play guitar, Bass, Harmonica and I sing... Im in a band called Whiskey Kisses.. Okay I think thats enough for now
