Whoa don't say that hey. My words of wisdom: Stop saying "there must be more to life," coz there ain't. Enjoy what you'rve got. Why do you think I live the nomadic life?
Oh - can someone tell me where to go (except hell)? Coz I'm really having to go somewhere but I don't know where I want to go and what I want to do (work somewhere). I'm thinking the east coast near Byron Bay/Tweed/Newscastle ..... near one of those places.
Well i wrote a really long thing about how people are so very terible and how they seem to be able to turn everything into something negative and attacking them, but then i just realised that the person would find the post and then attack me because of it even though it was in self defence. As ironic as it is, thats just how people are, well atleast the people around me anyways. And im sure they will find this too and turn it against me... AH! I just wish people would just BE HAPPY and not find something negative in every little thing and blow it out of proportion.
People can be negative, that's the way some are. You have to learn to not give in to that and be affected by that. Surround yourself with positive people, say to yourself that you are worth it, you deserve happiness and peace. if there are those in your life taking this away, cut them off. That might sound harsh but you'll find that you can live without them and the reward will be contentment. You're still young. Newcastle is just place in the world and indeed, in Aussie. There is a bigger world out there with optimistic people who will be glad to know you and experience life with you. Do you want to apply for uni? Apply for outside Newcastle. Just don't confine your thought to your immediate surroundings. That's just one aspect and not a great representation of things all over Tell me this. What are the good things in your life and the things you want to do and achieve in your life? I know these things exists. If you concentrate on these things, you will always have hope and therefore a chance to have a happier and peaceful life. I know you haven't given up, you wouldn't be here chatting to us if you had.
Thanx Trickster! See why cant i meet people like you? Grr it got even worse today, now all my friends want me to go to the police! Hoe pathetic is that? We ned to resort to the government trying to solve our problems because some people are too arrogant to simply talk to one another and try to sort it out. It could be so simply yet people need to complicate their lives, whilst making others un-happy which seems to give them some sort of satisfaction? Argh i dunno what they are thinking, if i did i might be able to fix it but oh well. What makes me happy is sitting around with a bunch of friends and simply laughing, laughter can light any dark place. The smiles of my friends is what lights my world, i lvoe seing them happy, which in return makes me just as happy! I love to do drama, dance and espcially sing. If im ever sad or upset about anything all i need to do is sing to myself and it just fills me with joy. Singing and music also seems to make others happy too. For instance i sang to my boyfriend te other night, and he cried out of happiness, it was so beautiful!!! I guess if i just block out those people then yeh i can just been completely happy. I mean i want to help those people and make them happy too, but if they dont want help then not much i can do right?
It's true that you can't help someone, unless they want the help. Otherwise it's a waste of your time. If helping people is what you want to do, if this makes you happy, why not think about a course or degree in something that allows you to so this. It can be counselling, psychology or even a dance instructor or singing teacher. If you become qualified, you can do this for a living and also make a living. While you get great joy from your friemds happiness, it's very important you make yourself happy. If you only focus on your friends, in the end you'll forget about yourself and not be happy at all. You have to take care of yourself. Forget those who don't want your help and choose to miserable. That will only make you feel bad. Look in the paper or online for a group you can join, for fun. A dance class or choir even. Something you enjoy doing, while socialising with like minded people. Things take time, but there are things you can do now, that have an instant effect. Ditch those negative people, concentrate on the positive friends you have like your boyfriend, and start something new that makes you happy where you'll make new friends. All of this will go a long way in bettering things for you i promise
