The Story of the Ghost

This album is song for song a perfect album. it is wonderful mix of extreme improv music and beautiful orchestrations and wonderful lyrics. i don't how people can just say "phish lyrics suck".....your out of your mind!!! they have so many verses that are poetic genius, some are cookey and fun gibberish, why? because not everything is supposed to be serious....their, well for the most part, Tom Marshall's lyrics are highly underated. the man is a genius. if you can't appreciate or understand PHISH lyrics...all i got a say is your just not there yet.....but back to my point get this album it is a album full of concert monsters......ooohhh its good!!! studio phish is better than everyone makes it out to be. they always have to find somthing hate don't they??

yea its a good album...i really like wading in the velvet sea but not really for the lyrics. some of the lines are awesome like "as time leaks out my life leaks in" but the the part about mailing off a moment seems kind of...stupid.

I dunno...i mean there are other songs that are more lyrically basd on the album so i guess i shouldnt just concentrateon one song.

 

"trampled by lambs and pecked by the doves" (limb by limb) I always like that lyric.

to be honest though SOME phish lyrics are kinda bad SOMEtimes, but there are some good ones. and I like phish too, just saying....

 

yeah some are gibberish. but for the most part they are very kick ass....
