No, fucking with people is a phallic, patriarchal trait.

I don't indulge in such traits.

But being called a fucker makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

no, because real feminism [in the true sense of the word] is the same as chauvinism just backwards. If a man was a feminist, well i dunno then

the women who are labeled as feminists are most often [like 99% but that is a BS statistic] are really equalisicts

well yes, that is what it is now, but, like in the sense of feminism as the opposite of male chauvinism, it is what i said...

but yes the womens lib movment is about equality

Feminism is a radical doctrine that women are people, too.

Even the most radical forms of feminism not as half as "bad" as male chauvinism practiced all around the world.

my husband and many men are feminists, they are in touch with what the world is really like for a female, i like the term "equalitist", that's a good one for both sexes.

ugh, i am going to stop getting my point across and basically just take out the first little bit of my point and just say that, yes, feminism in practice is about equality...

  14. don't you mean in theory feminism is about equality?

and then in practice it's about destroying mens pocket books and souls.....

no, i mean in practice, and theory of the feminist movement of the last century it is about equality...

but the word acctually means, at least to me, [basically] "reverse chauvinism" which, too me, has never been expressed [except in a few cases, but the majority of feminsts have condemned those acts]

thats why i wil call the movement like womens lib, or equalicy or somesuch---i am weird and strange like that

a few years ago, a friend of mine asked me if i'm a feminist. I went "ummm.." and got nervous. There is a lot of feminism (from the women's lib movement even) that really is put girls above guys, and not about having equality. I would never stand for that.

My friend then went "Do you think girls should have the same rights?" and I quickly said "yes".. she then said "then you're a feminist". When defined like that, I do think men could be "feminists" too. Though equaltist really is a cool term. I think I'll use that from now on.

I think its complecated, over zealous or bitter women can sometimes interpret feminism as a man hating part of society. BUt damnit I think men can be feminists.

I call myself a humanist... but that includes being a feminist.
I don't hate men, I don't want a matriarchy, i don't think that men are stupider than women and I dont think the solution is to put men through the thousands of years of oppression woman have experienced... I just dont want to be judged on anything because of my genitals, nor do i want to be objectified. I don't want men to be either.
It doesnt matter what your color is, who you vote for, who you worship, whats between your legs or who you choose to sleep with.... People are generally (and i am generalising and aware of it) as stupid as eachother.

I'm an equalitist... and women have been used moreso by men, in past days, than men have been used by women, so... you know how it goes.

Then again, venetians can be pretty damn manipulative themselves, from this standpoint. [IMG]
