I've been reading The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, by Tom Wolfe, and he mentions something about how if one is on LSD, one sees beyond that which one usually sees. He basically states that one can see beyond three dimensions. Is this true? Also, I'm always hearing stories of 6-24 hour trips. Is it impossible to have trips that are shorter than that?
well u might have to explain his idea a little further i however, dont believe in the X or Y dimension, depth is the only thing that exists to me and within the Z dimension lies an infinite amount of dimensionalities, everything within everything, whatever that means
i feel like im in a differant dimension on mushrooms. On an 1/8th i didnt really think or feel like i was somewhere else, but once i got into the 5g+ range, yeah, the dimension thing became quite true and pleasant
Seeing beyond the third dimension is a way to explain it...The barriers between your senses, gradually go away, making you experience stuff like seeing music. In my souvenirs, the visuals at some point are very precisely drawing the music or sound. The 'you' which is trapped in the physical world with all its limits , can seem to be dissoluted, which can be scary, to the point you don't experience the game of life anymore, you experience all, or god, or whatever you call it. You realize reality is an illusion. Like purplegel's sig, you are surrounded in white light In my experience, even with a low dose, you will feel lsd for 6 hours. On a solid trip, you will probably want to sleep after 10 or 12 hours. Id say you try acid before reading books about it
can you explain how the X and Y dimensions apply to the universe? or are they just lines on a piece of paper teacher told you to draw if a meteor flew by my spaceship window id say "ITS GOING RIGHT!" if it was raining down on my head id scream "ITS GOING DOWN!" X and Y are all the same, they dont mean anything really, just subjective labels there is only depth, and its not even "in" and "out" its just wholeness, completeness, existance
