So our neighbors invited me to a baby shower the day before yesterday for last night. It is for this girl who moved here from Mexico months ago and she barely speaks any english. She doesn't really know many people and there was only a handful of us there. So, needless to say, being the broke ass that I am I decided to make her a baby quilt. I only had a day to do it and literally sewed like a mad woman to get it done for the shower. What do you guys think. Hopefully it doesn't look too 'thrown together'. I wish I had more time to make her a fatty one She is having a girl..the middle square is a fairy embroidery..the corners are vine embroideries.
man, I wish I could "throw together" something that looks that good! Looks great, I'm sure it'll be much appreciated.
Very nice... no, you can't tell its a "one day" project. I think its because for most people that would be a "one month" project.. hahah. You remind me of my Grandmother in that way... i would call her at noon and she would have painted the bathroom, started bread to rise, washed the curtains, shampood the rug, walked the dog and made 7 people breakfast all while taking care of 4 grandkids. All i had done was brushed my teeth. You seem to accomplish more in a day (at least sewing wise) than I could do in a month!
Yeah, Cre.. That REALLY looks like you just "threw it together." Funny girl.. ahha. That looks AMAZING! It only took you one day?!
that is so cool!!! She will love it and the baby will too!! Good work!! I wish my thrown together crafts looked like that!!
ohhh wow..one day u did all of this!?!? I'm impressed!!!!! she'd LOVE IT! if she didn't..she's crazy for not liking it!
OMG...Cre you SUPER-woman!!!! that definately does NOT look 'thrown together' & i think any new mama would be soooo happy to snuggle their little one in your beautiful quilt. i'm sure you'll bring a smile to her face when she opens it! you're my hero!!!
