Well that's no good. Anyways, anyone who is going to the olympics must be out of their fucking mind. I'll honestly be surprised if something or someone does'nt get blown up.
It shows how barbaric and heartless some people are that they would slaughter thousands of innocent creatures just to keep up appearances. It would be a horrible event that would go down in the history books if they started killing the homeless to make the city "pristine". Bastards.
what are they supposed to do with 15k homeless dogs.......it would be great if they could find a home for the poor animals, but that is not likely to happen anytime soon....they could let them be and live with the fact that there are half starved disease laden canines running around there streets...threatening visitors with the possibility of distemper or rabies or something like that.....or they could put them under....which is not the greatest thing in the world, but it is definitely the most logical thing that they could do....because you and me both know that there is no person/organization that will take over 15k feral/homeless dogs, which their whole lives have learned to scavenge for food the best way that they can(in trash cans most likely) causing a mess wherever they go....and as sad as it is death would save people and the animals alot of greif in the end....but if assholes would learn that they can have their animals sterilized we wouldn't have this problem.....but its cheaper to let'em have puppies and drop them off on top of the mountain leaving them to fend for themselves......
It would have been nice if Athens had done something about the problem when they were awarded the games many years ago. It would have been less expensive too. It's typical of the ill-prepared, last-ditch attempts that they are doing with the construction, security, etc. for the games.
That makes me sick. Why can't they just ship the dogs to some other country? A large country? Let them roam there. But no, that's too HARD. Grrrr.
