Where have the patchworkers gone?

All of my favorite patchwork girls are members of the SB Family Crafters, but no one seems to ever be on the bulletin boards. I think I came across the site a bit to late...

Does anyone know where they have all gone? I would love to find a bulletin board/forum where crafty hippie girls get together & talk about all of the things they are working on. Any suggestions?

~I know that there are craft threads on here, but I would love something divided into a section for each craft & that is what most of the discussion is about ~

I know the BB has been VERY slow in the past year. If you get on there and post and start new topics people might come back The concert section is even slow and that is usually buzzing with meet up times and spots. I don't know of any other boards like that. Lets cross our fingers and hope when mama's get off tour they will hop on their computers and rage the BB's again. hehe.

Try www.craftster.org. They have the crafts broken down into types.

 

This really does'nt have anything to do with crafts, but the bb you were on. Just try posting. Image if every member on this site posted two posts a day, the place would be flooded with threads. Unless you post threads, the forum will never stay alive.

 

They do have a yahoo groups forum~If you go to yahoo groups search for stitchinbitches or patchwork clothing and it should come up~

I just signed up with hippiesewing but am still waiting for them to let me in... it kind of bums me out that you can't view any of the posts until you are a member, because I would kind of want to see what kind of messages there are to see if I want to join! ~

I love the crafters site! I already found out how to make a lovely 3-D hanging star out of those pesky AOL cd (or just some old ones)

I just checked into the SB group on yahoo.... I actually found about five of them! One is for quilters, one for Bonnaroo, and one for teachers or home-schoolers. Then there were two that sounded like they were just for the leaders of SB to talk about plans for the site.... one for marketing & one for giving. Does anyone know of another SB group that I didn't find?

There is a group for mama's that live in MN, another one for the midwest. The link I gave you is for the main one

 

Yes ~ That is the one I want There is a lot more going on in that group! I think my problem was putting a space between stitchin & bitches when I searched?.... hmmmm. It didn't show at all (I also tried SB Family Crafters) Thanks so much!
