It's the end for the Duke

The things that go on in politics are really something. Money has a way of corrupting just about anyone.

there are going to be about a 1/2 dozen resignations before the Abramhof(sp) investigation ends....

 

What with brownie, delay, frist, scooter, duke, abramhoff, all the way to king jr., it's not a good time to be a republican.

And I, for one, couldn't be happier.

 

The only "Duke" is John Wayne.

 

Does anyone know which companys bribed him?
Have their contracts been cancled?
Who, if anyone, has gone to jail for bribing this congressman?

 

The companies/parties involved were:

1. MZM Inc (Mitchell Wade). Its assets have since been obtained by Diversa Corp.

2. ADCS Inc (Brent Wilkes).

3. NY Businessman Thomas Kontogiannis.

Prosecutors do have a considerable case documented against these co-conspirators but I haven't seen any reports of formal charges being filed as of yet.

Dirty money goes to more Repubs than just The Duke

 

Politics can be really nauseating. I'm also amazed at how some people maintain such an optimistic view about politicians. There was a time in my life when my work was affiliated with politics but I couldn't stand what was going on and chose another field.
