Out futon frame has been slowly falling apart for the past few months and yesterday it finally caved in while my husband was on it. I didn't want to junk it because we can't get another couch right now, so I duct-taped it back together this morning and I must say that it is good as new! So I am curious, what have you improved with duct-tape?
After we started building our house, we had some of the interior walls finished but did not have all the outside siding up yet...we decided we needed a few more electrical outlets so we had to run some more wire, we had house wrap up on the outside so Larry slit through it...ran some more romex(wire) and then put it all back so nice with duct tape. So part of our house is now taped together... I also used it to hold up part of a hem on a skirt one time too.. And Wonka is right...you can do all kinds of things with it and it probably has a wab site. I know there's a book on it.
books with cracked bindings, or separated covers. shower curtain. toddler bed. boots. i think in my goth days i had a coat or something mended with duct tape. backpack. assorted furnishings. once i made a pattern for a fitted bodice for a formal gown. probably a lot more, but i never really thought about it.
I had a duct tape wallet, but it got sawed in half by a chain saw in a freak occurence, so I made one out of clear shipping tape. Now everyone knows how broke I am. I've been duct taped, as well.
as your trusted advisor, your happyhahaness, i suggest that at last we have found the uniform for the hahazon army: duct tape & backwards cowgirl hats.
I made a pair of underwear out of it once. FYI shave all contact points before applying duct tape to the skin. It is also good for hair removal. So ladies now you don't have to go get an expensive waxing. Just go to the garage and get the tape. If you have a significant other they would probably like to be included. duct tape is also good for penile extentions.
Fun, yes.......fun with tape, NO. If something needs to be put back together with tape then its probably time to buy a new one anyway....
my husband had the same old pair of van's sneakers for years, which were held together with the obligatory duct tape. i think that's the only thing i can think of, though...
i have a friend with a convertible but the top is conncected with duct tape. even tho it has to stay up all the time it holds pretty well
I had a pair of birkenstocks for years that I refused to relinquish - they were about 60% duct tape when I lost them
