im not saying backcombing isnt somewhat "natural" but my def. of natural is doing neglect (no combing) and NO wax... but i have done clockwise rubbing to help along the way...i just let them grow how they wanna......KNOTTY

I disagree as well..mine are only babies at 9 mos old, but very well formed. I have never used any sort of locking accelerator, wax, nothing. I did not backcomb or twist and rip. I just left my hair alone, wore an occasional scarf, and seperated a few.

I use Dr Bronners Peppermint soap.

I live by the ocean and swam quite a bit this past summer...the saltwater helped tons with the tightning, I believe. :) My locks are still changing so much! I think the shrinking is finally slowing down..some of them are way tighter than others..loops everywhere too! I just love natural dreads! :D

mabey we should change the thred name to Pictures of MikeJH3

...not trying to be rude, i love the pictures. but you could post them on your own thred, you may get more veiws on them too..
plus if you keep posting pictures after a while you will have a nice time line going on that every one could look back on
