Your Summer or ours? If your's bring warm clothes (that's our Winter) if our's bring cool clothes. And beer....it's custom to bring beer for the locals As far as travel tips etc - your travel agent should be able to give you some (re safety and the like).
I'm Zimbabwean, perhaps I can be of service :H Firstly... Which part(s) are you visiting? What sort of stuff will you be doing? When exactly are you going? I should be more help after that
My parents are moving there...... I know somethings about South Africa. It is dry there and winter when it is summer for us.
a friend of mine that lives in belgium just got back from africa on safari, he loved it and loved the people, he had a very positive experience hippiewise
I'm moving there for 3 months come next week actually. I'll be working in nature reserves during December then living with a familly in a small town near Capetown for January and Febuary. I'm glad to get to start moving around again...and it's cool because most of my volunteer group I'm with are South African and Mozambiquan and they've been in Canada for the last 3 months so now it's a cool reverse of roles. I'm very excited though Ive been wanting to get to South Africa for years. I REALLY want to go to Mozambique too but I don't think I'll get a chance. My roomate says I can stay with her when she's back there, but plain tickets cost ALOT. anyway, best of luck
hey, I was just wondering, are you volunteering with a company? Will you be volunteering in any Big 5 parks? What type of volunteering work will you be doing? Sorry for the questions!I'm just interested because I hope to do some voluntary work somewhere in Africa in the next couple of years particularly with wildlife. Anyway I hope it all goes well for you, Good Luck!
Err, first of all chill out and don't be so rude. Secondly I don't think anyone here said Africa is one big country.
