ok so what is the easiest synth

Well i have no knowledge at all of chemistry but SWIM is going to university next year to study chemistry and he is interested in learning how to cook. He wants to start easy and build up all the way to LSD. Any cooks out there know the easiest synth for him to get some experience on? If you know could you post a list of synths in order of difficulty that he can try and master progress through.

what is thc-v? is it any different to thc found in bud? And what would be the point in synthesising it, it would be much easier to grow your own plants right?

I think they would have info like this already. And say you posted such a list you think it would incriminate you? no chance in hell they would prosecute you for that especially when others are posting step by step synths here. think next time before you open your mouth with the intention of offending someone.

I work (assisting a professor) in a polymer research lab, having been in school for several years; while I have easy access to many watched precursors, I ditched the idea of synthing drugs for kicks MANY years ago..the risks heavily outweigh the potential benefits, not to mention throwing away years of valuable education.

to the original postee:Tell your friend to get his priorities straight. Chemistry is a wonderful degree to pursue, and there are much more productive ways to apply it than synthing illicit drugs


besides... purchasing legal plants and performing extractions is an art unto itself, and arouses a lot less suspicion. (just keep it on the dl, of course)


I just extracted caffeine today (just because I can, and I was bored) from some nasty cheap coffee, and distilled (via apparatus)... came up with brownish crystals, to which I washed with acetone to yield white needle-like crystals. I just like to stay in practice.

you're better off starting from catechol---> safrole---> MDMA
or just extracting from the plethora of plants that contain safrole in some form (i.e sassafras oil). no genius scheme there.

mdma synthesis is 90% reflux; no real wizardry there either.

Hey, you chemistry freaks have a rather strange definition of having a good time. I could think of lots of better things to do if I was bored (and I wish there would come a day when I was bored at work...), but caffeine extraction??? Man, you´re weird!

i was testing out my new setup, works like a charm. I'll probably do it again when I get some silica gel for my column
