I´ve posted it several times before and I guess I´ll have to do it again:
Stay away from kava, it´s extremely liver toxic! There have already been lethal incidents caused by kava!

It's called Kava Kava. You get it at a health food store, or organic food store. It is toxic to the liver but it's awsome. It's like being on opium and Valium at the same time.

Actually you should research the liver issue because many new studies show that the roots do not have the enzyme associated with the disease. Personally, I enjoy it every week or so and find it to be one of the best drug experiences there is.

Milk thistle has been proven to help prevent liver toxicity. You can get it at most drug stores in the herbal supplement section. Some people pre-load with milk thistle before using kava.

Never heard about that... I wonder, how the milk thistle should help reducing the toxicity...

I have no clue how it works, but I was reading through some experience reports on erowid and pre-loading with milk thistle to reduce liver toxicity was mentioned in a few of the reports. The reports weren't pertaining to kava though. I think it was some nutmeg reports. Then I looked it up on the web and found a few facts on some sites.
