Anyone been to Prague and tried the ''REAL ABSINTHE'' there.? Know of any specific Absinthe bars to check out, did you rate the stuff that's sold in the city.?

Cheers, oddly enough I can actaully buy Absinthe in the UK from a large Supermarket chain but I have a funny feeling that the stuff in Prague is the authentic real deal. Plan to visit Prague with friends in 2006 and was wondering where the best pubs were that sell it, too. It must have the Wormwood/thujone ingredient for sure.
Yeah, the stuf i got is the proper stuff, even got the spoon with it as well not sure of what pubs etc to go to but I bet the Absynthe from the supermarket isn't the real dea
Yeh, to be honest I'm not overly sure myself. The bottle ingredients do say that it has Wormwood in it but it all depends how much, where the stuff in Prague is bound to be authentic. Can't wait to go, oh yeh.!lol
I think it's the Thurjone that makes it trippy, not the wormwood it's self I think that they use that to extract it ??? but it's all cheap, cheap over there
Yeh, I'm pretty sure it is. I'll try one or two but will leave it at that as I've heard people have more than a few and ended up ruining their holiday by spending the rest of it in bed feeling sick. LOL
I'll remember that then , my Mum bought me a bottle & I havn't got it yet, but will sometime over christmas, I'll take it easy I guess, don't wanna ruin christmas
Wow, that absinthe is good, 70% with 100Mg of Thurjone, pretty good stuff even has the wormwood bits still in it. I also got some 80% stuff as well, won't be cracking that stuff open for a while !!!
