http://www.katrinafoundpets.com/ this was a website I found early on after Katrina hit New Orleans. It still has a lot of good info, and very sad stories. I am still heartbroken that I didn't go to help out the first month or so. when volunteers were SO needed. the stories I've heard make me think a lot. One of my missions in life is to help animals, and I guess I just want to say...don't forget yet about the Katrina disaster, esp its effects on pets. www.petfinder.com still has many links and stories on its message boards
