media vs. legelization

Does anyone think that maybe shows like, trailer park boys, and weeds, and other shows like them may be making the public think negatively about marijuana
I mean, I LOVE THESE SHOWS but ehey do sort of associate weed with carelessness and violence

I think maybe they are slowing down the fight to legelize marijuana.... hmmm

what do you guys think...
Im not saying the shows should get shut down
Im just asking opinions

 

I have only seen the first 10 episodes(Weeds) and if there are any more on the net available let me know
But yeah , you kind of gotta point there cause people need to be educated about cannabis since they know so little about it and think its deadly and stuff.
And not educated the wrong way like MARIJUANA KILLS or stuff like that

 

i think you'd have to be a blind conservative to take trailer park boys completely seriouslly. and i think that trailer park boys would actually turn alot of people onto pot. maybe even jail too! ricky sure does glorify jail sometimes. oh ohhhh...

I think almost always these programs show cannabis in a bad light. There is another called Ideal (I deal geddit?) on BBC right now with jonny vegas as a dope dealer. I mean, if you're trying to glamourize toking Jonny Vegas is the last person you'd choose to do it with. (Not that I have anything against him mind, but he's not got what you'd call sex appeal).
