Try reseting your all your computers settings to their factory shipped conditions. This means removing all the changes you have made to your computers settings. If you can't do this you should format the hard drive. Any one you choose to do, before you actually carry out the procedure you should back up any files to a CD ROM, as you will lose any saved data. You should also consider changing your anti virus to Mc Afee, Mc Afee is a better anti virus and will not do anything else to your computer other than be an anti virus. Norton places filters on incoming internet traffic which is of no use to anyone other than people who are trying to censor their email traffic for minors.
MC AFEE IS A FAR SUPERIOR ANTI VIRUS PACKAGE WILL BEAT ALL COMPETITORS HANDS DOWN IN EVERY ASPECT OF COMPUTER SECURITY "FACT", IT IS ALSO A EUROPEAN COMPANY NORTON IS A USA BASED COMPANY.

I would not do anything drastic with your computer as has been suggested before thinking about the problem.

When did the problem start happening?
Have you loaded up any new software?

If you are using XP, you can reset the computer to a previous date before the problems started happening.

There are many things you can do before you start formatting hard drives!!

hmm, this was happening to my flat mate the other day, so its not only you

she couldnt sign in using her account on any computer not just her own

the only way she got around it was by opening a new account and signing in using that

dunno if that'll be any help, but its all i can think of!

Make sure that you have not changed your password with your email details as this could be whats causing the problems. Or failing that you have probably changed your computers settings so you will need to reset your computers settings. As you probably don't know which one of your computers settings you have changed you are going to have to change all of them. If your computers behaving like this then it would be a good idea to re install all of your programs, and set your computer up from scratch. You may have a virus possibly which is not being detected. You can only have one anti virus on your computer at one time if you any more than one security suit on your computer they will cause a conflict on your computer and will not work properly. When you choose an anti virus I personally recomend Mc Afee as I find that they are far superior than any other products. Computers go wrong from time to time thats life, you can do nothing about that, what you can do is limit the amount of time that they go wrong by using sensible methods with regards to your computer needs. It will not take you long to re install your computer. If you are worried about losing any data for any future problems you should purchase an external hard drive for back up.

it could also be spyware, have a look for some free spyware removal things and give them a go. i use spyware doctor and found it fantastic, always use it after browsing on myspace because that site is just full of spyware.
