The mj forums are becoming cluttered with the most useless shit I've ever seen, This is a forum to talk about weed related stuff, not a personal diary of "Today I got high" #2312343. So I say we bring back the karma system, but rename it the stupidity meter. Once you are deemed "dumbass" by the point system, your banned.
This is a place to hang out and talk, if you have a more appropriate and educational subject for a thread then maby you should create a few.
I love idiots and pointless threads, because it keeps the forum active when we've already said everything that needs to be said on the other threads.
i think banning is a little harsh, maybe a warning and then a certain nuimber of points before they get like a 2 day ban. but then again....its all relative to the individual whats stupid and whats not... i thought deja vu had some great posts but others called her posts stupid.
yeah, i think a "stupidity meter" would be good... too bad it wasnt put in to play like... 4 months ago because MJphysicist would have been banned about 3 months, 29.5 days ago after a couple of his "1 4m 50000000 H1gH r1gh7 n0vv!1!!!1!!" threads case in point http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134255
THIS thread is clutter and fucking stupid. Why the fuck do people keep trying to play administrater, asking for moderaters, and talking about banning. If you don't like a thread, dont fucking open it. Fuck.....
i don't think an automatic ban system would be very fair, but i like the idea of a karma system because it encourages people not to make pointless threads and posts without forcing people to only post within boundries. i still don't know why the old system was deleted, it seemed to work well to keep posts interesting...but i might get banned again cause i think skip said he didn't want anyone discussing this anymore...
